It would be cool if we could see applaud/smite by topic or post - so we would know which girls are in favor with fellow UMC-ers. Is that possible?

The problem is that the karma points are given for the POSTER. Unfortunately does nobody know, WHICH post the point is given for.

E.G.: You post in Lady X - great pics, of course. One hour later you receive a + point - YOU think it is given for your recent post; but - maybe a member who wasn't online for some days sees some pics of yours in topic Lady Y you have posted in 4 weeks ago and gives you the point for this one. Dull, hm? So, the system isn't working (I wish it could be working, too  ). frank

It's technically possible, but not likely… maybe there's a smf mod out there that already does this???

Certainly it's not worth the work of actual coding; just thought someone else might have already implemented it...

Maybe people should more generous with PMs - a simple "Great post on X, more of her please" goes a long way.

Right! I like sending pms, but many people don't (can't?) answer. Kind of pity... f.

There is a mod for Simple Machine Forums, that allows you to give a thumbs up or thumbs down on an individual post. See here. Wouldn't it be great to know which posts were the most popular with other UMC users? Moderators, please take a look...

It's 2 years old and doesn't appear to be compatible with smf 2.0.2… waiting for a reply in their support forum
